To help ease this discomfort, we administer a topical anesthetic to all patients receiving a Juvederm® treatment. This anesthetic numbs the site of injection, making your Juvederm® treatment is painless. Treatments are quick, typically lasting 45 minutes.

While the results of Juvederm® injections are not permanent, they last significantly longer than rivaling facial injectables — results can last up to 2 years following treatment. Immediate improvements are apparent.

Following the injection(s), patients may experience some degree of swelling. Bruising is rare but usually heals very quickly. All symptoms usually disappear within 24 hours. Lingering numbness from the topical anesthetic may continue for several hours after the session is completed. Alcohol and strenuous exercise should be avoided for several days after receiving Juvederm filler injections.
